The 2007 established employing company in Zibo is a German wholly foreign owned manufacturing company for production of high-grade bricks with a high alumina content and fireclay bricks, patented special bricks and unshaped refractory concretes.,
The company has a production capacity of 30.000 t/a on five special presses in gas-fired high temperature kiln and a production line for refractory concretes with a production capacity of 12.000 t/a.
The turn over in 2009 was 20.000.000 USD, with currently 250 employees.

The position:
As the Quality Control Department Head you are responsible for all aspects of the quality situation of the department. You assure a smooth cooperation between the research, development, production and quality departments.
Responsibilities:
▪ You lead a group of about 10 employees and are responsible for ensuring that the production of refractory products is always closely monitored
▪ You decide on the labour organisation in your department
▪ You make sure the laboratory staff receive the necessary information
▪ You control compliance with prescribed values and production instructions
▪ You promote quality awareness
▪ You compile weekly reports and statistics
▪ You advise the production department on steps to remedy deficiencies in quality and other aspects relating to general quality
▪ You inform the superior authority and the production line on specific quality problems and their causes
Requirements:
▪ Engineer, scientist or comparable education
▪ Ideal would be practical experience in the manufacture of ceramic materials
(graduates of colleges, universities and ceramic training companies would also be considered)
▪ Experience in the execution of projects from conception to completion
▪ Knowledge of statistical methods for evaluation of experimental data
▪ Chinese mother tongue and ideally fluent in English or German
(if necessary, additional language training could be considered)
▪ Experienced in using computer software, MS-Office.
▪ Good team player with strong communication and organisational skills
▪ Managing tasks with flexibility, foresight and logic
▪ Absolutely reliable and trustworthy
